Early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise.

Many successful people swear by waking up at 5am.

There’s something almost mystical about getting out of bed at 5am. These hours before sunrise hold a certain magic and wonder, providing an unrivalled tranquility and solitude that makes you feel like the only person in the world who is awake. The silence and feeling of isolation is empowering and inspiring. However, for most people this experience itself isn’t sufficient enough to convince them to start their day at 5am, and so these people miss the benefits that early rising has to offer in terms of productivity, motivation and success. Many successful athletes, CEOs and entrepreneurs swear by their early morning rituals, which allows them to maintain their intense careers, training and business schedules that demand consistent constant attention.

There are many benefits to waking up at 5am, and those that do profess the distinct advantage that these extra one or two hours provide them every morning before the majority even contemplate having breakfast. Is this you? Do you need more encouragement and convincing before setting your alarm for 5am? If so, let’s take a look at the main benefits we experience waking up an hour or two earlier than most, and discover the advantages this practice will provide us in working towards our goals and successes.
